Project Search Students

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide vocational training and instructional programs for students between 18-22 years old with moderate-to-severe disabilities and are on the alternate curriculum. The program is designed to maximize student independence and develop vocational abilities. Leading to employment, preparation for adult life, or access to adult support programs

Lets Work Together!

We partner with parents and guardians to prepare each child for a successful future. Equipping your child to be self-sufficient and independent is the greatest gift we can give both students and their families. As each student progresses, they gain deep personal satisfaction and self-respect derived from being a contributing member of society.

Partnerships

Our program works cooperatively with LAUSD’s District Office of Transition Services (D.O.T.S.), the Department of Rehabilitation, Project Search, and the L.A. County Regional Center to provide our students with access to an array of support services

Outcomes

Businesses that hire individuals with disabilities report a reduction in employee turnover, an increase in employee loyalty, and an increase in morale and productivity of other

employees. A 2007 study by DePaul University found that employees with disabilities were just as dependable and productive as employees without disabilities, and had nearly identical job performance ratings.
